State Wide and Federal Reparations

We have a statewide Illinois reparations committee tasked with creating a comprehensive system of reparations. This includes direct payments, programs, and grants for housing, education, and more to advance equity for Black Americans impacted by slavery and systemic racism. Together, as a community from Missouri to Illinois, we can deliver long-overdue reparations to the Black community.
